Merry Christmas and Happy Holidays To Friends & Customers

Merry Christmas, Happy Holidays and I hope all my customers and friends have a happy New Year in the coming year before us.

It’s been quite a year in the Yoder household this past year!    This time last year I was recovering from surgery that saved my life.   But because of all the trauma and set-backs after my surgery they figured it triggered fibromyalgia.  Now I battle daily bouts of pain from that as well as struggle with fatigue.   But if that is the tradeoff for being alive I’ll take it.   Even though there are days that are hard to function and I still need strong pain medication to function normally or semi-normally on really bad days.   My arms and hands are most affected and after using my hands a lot or a long day with a lot of walking I need a day or two to recover from it.   But I’m alive and hope my cancer doesn’t return.   Next month in January I’ll have another CT scan for my routine scans.   This year I’ve been spending more time as a mum and wife spending more time off my computer and business and being with my kids.   I realized just how much time I was spending on that and didn’t want to lose more precious time with them during their growing years.   Because of my fatigue I’ve been going to bed earlier than I ever have in my life!  Well I’m in bed relaxing even if I’m up late reading some nights while other nights I can’t seem to keep my eyes open and I’m asleep before the kids even think about getting ready for bed.   But my kids tease me that I’m getting old.   I turned 40 this past year not 80 I tell them and laugh and remind them that someday they will turn 40 as well.  But to them that seems almost impossible to imagine.

It feels good to be back to doing what I love doing the most and that is creating what you like!   My shaving products!    Although I do need to be careful about what I put on my plate so I can manage.   I have been doing really good on getting orders out in a timely manner by working on my made when ordered shaving soaps once a week.   

I’ve also been working to add more products that are already made up and ready to ship (RTS) items including shaving soaps!    

I look forward to adding to my line in the New Year to come!
